As an Indian-American filmmaker raised in New York City, Hrishi has always been interested in exploring multi-cultural stories in film. He pursues stories of intimate human connections within the framework of culture and spirituality. Since graduating with a B.F.A in Film & TV from NYU Tisch, his work has featured on influential platforms such as HBO's Max and Nowness. As an editor, his clients include names like A24, Neon, TIME Studios, Samsung, RedBull, and Meta.

BIRDSONG, his award winning directorial debut, premiered at the Academy Award® Qualifying New Hampshire Film Festival.

He’s currently developing his feature debut, a psychological thriller.
